How Our Story Begins
Central Radio Company, Inc. (CRCI) has been rooted in the historic shipbuilding hub of Norfolk, Virginia, since 1934. Throughout our history, we have provided radio installations, repairs, sales, and electrical and electronic services to shipyards around the world.
We were among the first to develop and deliver a top-tier temporary wireless announcing system, wireless casualty reporting, and wireless smoke/heat and flood detection systems. Our systems are continuously updated to meet new government requirements, including NAVSEA Standard Items, which helps ensure maximum reliability in our safety and fire prevention systems.
As an authorized Kenwood and Federal Motorola dealer, we provide premium two-way radio solutions to both government and private-sector clients. We also continue to be a leader in comprehensive onboard electrical and electronic repair services for naval vessels.
